The model for locating the wealth of information and knowledge within the library has remained relatively unchanged. The modern world has become a searchable index within Google, while the library remains an antiquated version of the card catalogue. Currently the search for a resource within the library is a frustrating process.
 


The following is a graduate project examining the searching process at Chicago's public library and redesigning the catalogue to search for resources through a spacial, Boolean model.
